Professional conduct: New, improved resources for members

As part of ongoing enhancements to the professional conduct process, the Institute has made significant amendments to the Member Complaints and Discipline section of its website.  
 
Major amendments include:

  • More comprehensive and relevant information for potential complainants and other stakeholders, regarding the Institute’s professional conduct function, the complaint process and the types of matters that can be investigated
  • A more streamlined process for lodging complaints, including an on-line complaint form and a dedicated email address
  • Hyperlinks within the complaints site to enable potential complainants to link to other organisations that may be more appropriate to manage their particular complaint
  • Improved access to reports of professional conduct tribunal decisions.
These changes add transparency and effectiveness to the Institute's complaint and disciplinary procedure, including its corporate governance and leadership initiatives.
